I am Nayeli, a modern millennial mental health therapist and mental health advocate that uses a multipassion approach in combination with formal training to assist those seeking well-being.

Whatever it is that brought you to my page, know that I strive myself at holding space for uncertainty and for the unknown. Be rest assured that as your therapist, you will be in a warm, judgement-free zone, where you will be heard and understood.

I use a trauma-lens approach, and while that may mean nothing to you now, it means that together we will work at looking at the root of what brought you here…

I take it beyond talk therapy and use evidence-based methods that help use go directly to the core of all your underlying challenges.

Or perhaps you are noticing resurfaced trauma that is aiding in your inability to have meaningful relationships. This can result in isolation and misunderstood pain. My name is Nayeli (pronounced Nah-yell-E) Duncan. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I would be honored to be your guide in your path towards a more peaceful, more restored, and truer you.

 

You see, I am not the expert, YOU are! But perhaps with all that life has thrown at you- parenthood, unhealthy relationships, anxiety, depression, life after Covid, health issues, or hidden burdens, you have not been able to figure it out like you could have before. But I am here to tell you that you already have all the answers… they are within you…you just need a little guide.

 

My formula is simple. I like to start by providing you with some powerful and practical skills to set the foundation for the unburdening ahead. I then assist those in need of mental wealth by taking a gentle approach to strengthen the mind-and-body connection.
